In many contexts, discussing sexual and reproductive health remains a challenge. Silence, taboos, and the lack of reliable information continue to limit many women’s access to care, autonomy, and well-being. It was in response to this reality that the project Intimamente Plena was created—an initiative of Muthiana Voice that seeks to open pathways for listening, dialogue, and the sharing of knowledge on issues related to the body, dignity, and freedom of choice.
More than informing, Intimamente Plena seeks to transform. The project was designed based on scientific evidence, while maintaining deep respect for the cultural and social experiences of Mozambican women. Every action, piece of content, and space created aims to welcome, clarify, and empower, without imposing ready-made truths or universal formulas.
The project is structured around three complementary pillars:
Qualified dialogue and listening – Creation of spaces where health professionals, educators, and participants openly discuss myths, safe practices, and sexual and reproductive rights. Activities include roundtables, workshops, webinars, and community forums that promote active listening and collective knowledge-building.
Production and dissemination of technical knowledge – Development of educational materials (guides, articles, infographics, podcasts, and videos) grounded in scientific research and adapted to the local reality. Topics include intimate hygiene, menstrual health, contraception, STIs, and family planning.
Digital awareness campaigns – Online communication strategies that spread quality information through accessible narratives and micro-learning, countering misinformation and promoting healthy behaviors.
Intimamente Plena is a living experience, built with listening, care, and technical rigor. It is not a fixed model, but an initiative that adapts to the voices and needs of the communities where it operates. Here, every conversation matters, every question is valid, and every woman is the protagonist of her own story.
